PPC/Paid Search Analyst

Here’s the job:

As a PPC/Paid Search Analyst, you will be working on a team to help create strategic online advertising campaigns for each of our products to reach the targeted demographic. This includes developing strategies for our paid search campaigns (Adwords, Bing), retargeting (Adwords, Criteo), and video ads in order to increase transactions, traffic and revenue. You must have a deep understanding of analytics to evaluate ad performance and be able to report on data using spreadsheets. You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table and be able to execute in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing strategy for paid search, display, and retargeting campaigns on Google AdWords, Bing Ads, and various social media platforms which includes: keyword research, media planning, campaign setup and budget optimization;
Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of advertising campaigns including ad copy and idea generation, testing, bid management, and keyword expansion;
Identifying opportunities and analyzing key performance indicators in the marketplace to diversify campaigns, expand visibility and consistently improve performance for best results (lead generation and sales revenue);
Provide trend analysis, benchmark reports, attribution analysis, and provide suggestions to grow and optimize landing pages, creative displays, and ad copy testing;
Analyze, strategize, implement, manage, and optimize ongoing PPC efforts ensuring that traffic and ROI goals are met or exceeded;
A/B testing & measuring ad variations of text ads, ad-groups, keywords, and videos via Google’s Draft & Experiments or other A/B testing tools;
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, and display networks that drive revenue growth;
Support data analysis, search query mining, and development of ad hoc reporting;
Detect PPC ad fraud and devise strategies to minimize fraud risk;
Develop ad campaigns which aligns with the company’s brand guidelines and delivers best performance;
Optimize all bid strategies to hit CPA/ROI goals;
Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns;
Assist with activities such as content strategy, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks;
Provide weekly and monthly reporting to management based on required ROI and measurable KPI’s.

Requirements:

Excellent skills in data analysis;
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Digital Media, or related field;
Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in online advertising for retail e-commerce site;
Minimum 3 years experience with digital media advertising platforms such as Google Display Network, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc;
Minimum 3 years experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and/or Paid Search (PPC);
Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, and problem solving skills;
Experience with website analytics tools including internal reporting tools;
Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics;
Thorough understanding of benchmarks;
Ability to analyze data from search engines, analytics packages, internal data and make actionable decisions and recommendations;
Experience managing PPC Campaigns across various platforms;
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Word, and advanced skills with Excel;
Excellent written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills;
Excellent project management skills;
Familiar with Organic and Paid Search Marketing;
Enthusiasm about Paid Search and the internal drive to continuously learn and keep up with the latest industry trends;
Extremely organized with excellent attention to detail;
Ability to multi-task with solid time management skills.
