MARKETING MANAGER (san mateo)

We are looking for Sales Reps that can help us develop relationships with local businesses and sell our services. You need to be enthusiastic and understand technology. Need to be familiar with web, mobile devices and be a social media savvy to be able to explain our services.

Our product is cloud based and helps local businesses get in front of more customers, which makes it easy to sell. It is a subscription model and you keep getting commissions as long as clients are paying!

Requirements:
-No experience required as long as you are confident you can call multiple companies to close deals
-Beginners are welcome
-Students are welcome
-Not required : Prior experience in business to business sales
-The ability to learn new software

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Lead overall brand strategy for assigned projects, including creation of goals, marketing approach, audience targets, positioning and overall communication strategy.

Architect local plans that consider paid, owned and earned media, as well as key disciplines (e.g., social, promotions, events, etc.) to build out anchor event plans and present all information in a timely manner to key executives and partners.

Act as a leader and “catalyst” who inspires others to deliver bar-raising, best in class ideas and plans, eliminating barriers that may work against campaigns.

Identify assets needed for each campaign/initiative and communicate to relevant team(s) in a timely manner.

Provide creative direction and feedback to internal creative teams to ensure all is on brand and aligns with campaign strategy.

Oversee project budgets and work with team to track and forecast, as well as process PO’s in a timely manner.

Monitor and analyze key marketing metrics (CPP, CPM, etc.), quality and campaign performance.

Oversee all SEO efforts to optimize online presence and search results in maximizing company/brand exposure.

Manage all online content including but not limited to social media, website, electronic posting on property.

Interface with internal/external marketing support to ensure optimized content and presence that drives traffic and maximizes salesforce effectiveness.

Promotion, brand awareness in all markets to maintain current and execute new business.

B2B Marketing via cold calling, outreach, meetings, and attending a variety of events, etc.

Coordinating all collateral materials including, brochures, print and, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Marketing knowledge and experience, preferably marketing events and/or venues.

Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for marketing and communications (advertising, digital, marketing and PR).

Strong project manager with a keen ability to keep projects on track. Ability to demonstrate leadership and ownership of projects.

Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to interact with all in a professional, helpful, courteous and tactful manner. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Excellent spelling, grammar and written English skills required.

Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Social Media platforms. Ability to create high impact presentations.

Ability to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgment, discretion and confidentiality.

Must be creative yet analytical/financially oriented, resourceful in handling project roadblocks, and be a strong executer.

Strong organizational and follow up skills with attention to details.

Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with management, co-workers, clients and customers using principles of good customer service.

Willingness to be flexible and work in a fast paced environment with a changing work load and sudden shifts in priorities.

Requires a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges as well as being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; five years of marketing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Possession of or ability to obtain a valid California driver’s license and current automobile insurance.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.
